We have a family ancestor named Joseph W. Kingsley (1837-1920) who lived in San Francisco and Mono Co. His father John C. Kingsley (1808-1880), married to Caroline Watson, came from New York, and then,Berkshire Co., MA and was possibly an immigrant. John C. may have come to CA with or after his son came out.
