The John Read line...yours is an old, old Seekonk, West Plymouth Colonie surname! My own Joseph Kent's friend William Cahoone/Colquahoun was killed the same day...both from "Swansey"...do you have any other details on the eight you mentioned as killed, and....do you have more information on "Pierce's Fight"/"Camp Swamp"?
