No, Henry s/ of Gershom was b. 1679-d. 1707 (killed by Indians) and seems never to have married.

While the other Henry, b abt. 1640ís-d. betw. 1685-1693, married before 1671 Joanna Edgecomb (b. abt. 1649), d/ Nicholas & Willmot Edgecomb of Blue Point.

Have been working for years on these lines and know many have the two (among others) confused.

Are you connected to Capt. Josiah Scammon of Blue Point?

There were other Elkinses (at least 4-5) at Blue Point and that is the family I'd like to connect, before publ. the New England Elkins genealogy.
