Lyman Milford Kingman b 1825 Cincinnatus, Cortland Co NY ( son of Charles Kingman & Nancy Root)d 1862 Battle of Fair Oaks, Henrico Co VA
m Caroline Elizabeth Tidd b 1825 Morrissville NY (daughter of Nathan Tidd & Crissa Farwell)d 1910 Royalton WI.
They had two children:
1) Amelia Caroline Kingman b 1852 NY d 1926. She m Frederick Jesse McIntire.
They had 2 children:
1a)Caroline McIntire b 1876 MN, m1) Seymour Bigelow & had daughter Caroline Kingman Bigelow, m2) John Cumbrow; he adopted Caroline who changed her name to Cumbrow.
1b)Frank K McIntire b 1879 MN
2) Frank Tidd Kingman b 1854 NY d 1900 MN. He m Sarah Margaret Sanford b 1856 MN d 1890 SD.
They had a daughter
2a)Margaret Olive Kingman b 1886 MN who m Edward Welles Delano. They had a daughter:
2a1)Mary Margaret Delano who m Hiriam Callison
Lyman Kingman was the older brother of my greatgrandfather, Tracy Kingman. Most of these ladies were in the DAR and I used their records when I was verifying my DAR application.
