Kingery reunions

I remember how exciting it was for my mother for when it was time for the yearly July 4 reunion with all the kingery
families. We use to have at the state park on Rt. 23 just north of Wavery, Oh. The men always put up tents or tarps, cause ther was always that chance of rain-and it always did. There was a lot of good home cooked food. My moms aunt would bring chicken and noodles, every year, never let us down, they were the best and there was always a german chocolate cake. Me and my cousins played in the creek. The men played horseshoes and the women caught up on gossip. a lot of the older family members have past away and I dont here about these get togethers anymore, I miss everyone. Love to all my Kingery family.
