I am looking for any information on the King family from Tennessee. The only information I have is this. My father is James Malloy King. His mother was Roma Moore Jones (king). I think his father was William Douglas King and I think his father was Charles King born in 1895 Tenn. Charles King was married to a Frances Sparkman. This is really all I can find. I do not even know if it is correct. I only really know for sure my fathers name and his mothers name. I know my father has a brother Charles King but I do not know his age or place of residence. They were both born in Tennessee. My father was born in 1948 I think. I do not know him. It is sort of hard to do your ancestry without knowing any of them or anything about them. Any help anyone can give me would be great. It seems there were SEVERAL Kings in Tennessee and all of them had the same names, William, Charles, James, Nathaniel etc. So if anyone can help, please do. Thank you. Oh towns I know of are Gallatin, Greenbrier, and Nashville. Not sure of others yet. Thanks.
