If your Greenberry is the one in 1860 Missouri, Mercer co....then according to his children's births he wandered all over the country before he got to Missouri...George & John born in Ohio...Alexander born in Illinois, as were W.W., Greenbury & H.H......
I thought at first George was his first son, but not if he married in 1824....George wasn't born until about 1834...I thought maybe Greenbury named his first son George after his father until I realized we're missing about 10 yrs. of kids there...noticed he also named one Alexander later...maybe the George & Alexander also went to Ohio in 1830-40-50....I can't look at those but do know they were still in Hampshire Co., Va. in 1820....
