I have information on a John Kindley born on January 9, 1804 in Rowan County, N.C. He died May 21, 1873. He married Amelia Nail Wagner on March 9, 1826 or 1828. They had a daughter named Elizabeth Louise Kindley, born September 26, 1839 who married an Ephraim Barnhart on Sept 10, 1857.

John was the son of Shadrach Kindley and Margaret Briles. Shadrach was the son of John Kindley who immigrated to the US from England via Germany - according to the information that I have.

Any information that confirms this, or any information that you have about the original brother who immigrated and where they originally came from would be appreciated.
