When I saw your message,I got so excited I called my mother who lives in Florida. I never met your grandmother, but my mother knew her very well. She remembers aunt Fay always had lots of love and hugs for mom and all her sisters and brothers. She would also give each kid a dollar and some candy everytime she saw them.Mom says that Faye and some of the other aunts would play a game with them called "Kitty in the corner."
All the aunts helped my grandmother with her kids, there were ten in all,but back then there was maybe seven. She also told me a sad but sweet story about your grandmother during the war.Fay worked in the company store in a time when everything was being rationed and each family could only buy a certain amount of groceries. My grandfather was a coal miner and they always got everything from there. Your grandmother would sneak them extra rations and have them delivered to my grandmother's house so the kids would have enough to eat.
I also found out the names of both our grandmothers' parents: Herbert and Margaret Kinder. My mother also has a picture of all of them they can scan for you if you want, here is her email address,
