Peter Kinder - anyone help?
Posted by: Tigger (ID *****6623) Date: November 12, 2011 at 14:03:27

Been reading thru some old messages and got really confused. i've been trying to fill in some 'See/Sea' gaps and keep finding posts and trees of a Dolly See and Peter Kinder.

Following the clues i've come across this in Chalkey's:
Vol I
NOVEMBER 30, 1749.
Catherine Christian, Sarah, Peter, and Catherine, orphans of Peter Kinder, to be bound by Church Wardens.

FEBRUARY, 1749 (B).
Charles Millikin vs. Peter Kinder.--February, 1749. Abates by death of defendant.

Vol III
Page 267.--17th August, 1758. Peter Kender's (Kinder? Ginder?)
estate, account with Alex. Wright, administrator--To sundries from 22d August, 1748, to 22d August. 1749. Paid Erwin Patterson, Patrick Vance, for wages. Paid Alex. Ingram (4 days writing). Paid Ephraim Vause for crying the vendue. Paid Francis Cyphers, Henry Brown, Geo. Griffith.
These did not pay for goods bought at vendue, viz: Joseph Kimmins, James McAfee, Jean Patterson, John Gold, Joseph McDonald, David Robinson.

and lastly:
Page 516.--21st August, 1770. James Bratton (Bratin) and Elizabeth to Peter Kinder, 70, 900 acres on Bratton's Run, branch of Calfpasture, patented to James Bratton 6th April, 1769; Dunlap's corner. Delivered: Matain Sea, 25th April, 1772.

Is the son Peter above the one who married 'Dolly' See/Sea dau of Martin Sea/See listed on the last paragraph?

Hope someone can straighten me out! Thanks in advance!
