I have this William Kinchen in my line too. I know there is dispute about which wife was the real mother of the children, but I believe that Ruffin was the mother and Joyner was the second wife but helped raise many of the children. As for their children, I the following:

Matthew or Boze 1700/1707
Sarah 1710
Patience 1715
Elizabeth 1709
William 1711
Martha 1713
Sarah 1717

These birthdays are not for sure but they seem to make sense at least in general. I have a lot of information on the family of Elizabeth Ruffin if you want it. Email me and I can send you a gedcom. As for William's family, I have his parents as Thomas, born in 1640 in England, died in Virginia and married to Sarah Alston in 1670. She was born 2 may 1643 in Bedford, England. I have more information on her family as well if you want me to email it to you.

Jennie Kitchens
