I have Jacob as being one of eight children of Daniel Kinard, Sr.
Daniel lived first in Newberry Dist. of SC. and then moved to the Barnwell District, SC. and later moved to Montgomery County, Georgia about 1817.It was here that we have a last record on him since he was not recorded on the 1820 Montgomery Co., Ga. Census and it is believed that he is buried there, since he was not .
1790 Newberry Co., SC. Census: No Daniel Kinard, Sr.
1800 Barnwell SC. Census: No Daniel Kinard, Sr.
1810 Barnwell SC. Census at the age of 45 or older as was his wife 45 Up; they had 7 sons: 2 under 10, 3 Bet. 10-16, and 2 Bet. 16-26 and 1 daughter age 10-16.
1820 Montgomery Co., Ga. Census: 1 wht. male 0-10; 1 wht. male 10-16; 1 wht. male 16-18; 1 wht. male 45 Up; 1 wht. female 0-10; 1 wht. female 10-16; 1 wht. female 26-45.
The sons listed here with Daniel Kinard, Sr. are Daniel Jr., Jacob, and William Kinard. These 4 sons [George, Isaac, John, and Graham Kinard],were heads of household on the 1820 Barnwell Dist., SC. Census who did not relocate by 1820 forthe Montgomery Co., Ga. Census.
1830 Monroe Co., Ga. Census shows only a Martin Kinard. He could be the extra missing unknown son of Daniel Kinard, Sr.
Thanks
