Philip Kimmel 1825-1856 is not by direct line, but I do have some information on this family. I'm not sure how much data you have so I'll make it quick.
Philip Kimmel, b. 16 Sep 1825, IL (1), d. 21 Aug 1856 (1), s/o Daniel Kimmel b. 2 May 1789, PA (4), d. 3 Dec 1842, Union C., IL. (4)and Catharine Hunsaker b. 6 Oct 1792 (1)(4), m. 16 Sep 1809 Union Co., IL ((2). Married Susan Henderson, 16 Sep 1847, Red River Co., TX (2). Susan b. 1823, LA (1), d. 1883. One child this marriage: John Columbus Kimmel, b. 12 May 1851, Tarrant Co., TX(2)(3), d. 2 Dec 1914, Ellis Co., TX. (3). Married Jennie Virginia C. Lamb, 11 Apr 1890, Ellis Co., TX. Jennie, b. 21 Oct 1860 (2)(3), d. 21 Jan 1947, TX (3). Five children indicated.
Daniel s/o Johann Philip Kimmel and Druscilla Pendrod.
I do have Philip being shot by some one named "Guest and buried Tree Cemt.
