Hi,
My name is Cassandra Kimling Wade.
My great-great-grandfather was Fabian Kimling b abt.1842, died 11 Feb 1898. We haven't been able to locate the town in Germany he was born, but do know he was from Baden. His father may or may not have been either a Michael or Dacobet Kimling. We do know he came to the US in/about 1860/65. He settled in Galveston, Texas and married first Walburga Weidenbach, and fathered 3 children: Caroline Walburga, b 02 April 1867, d 17 May 1869; Constantine Michel[mine]b 30 Nov 1869 d 19 Dec 1943; Johan[John]Fabian b 07 April 1872, unknown dod. All the children were born in Galveston. He married twice after the death of Walburga.
I would be interested in exchanging information with you. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Casey K Wade
