I'm descended through Goldman Kimbrough born 1 June 1766 and Mary Allen born 16 May 1775. Goldman was raised in NC and then went to Maury County TN for just a couple of years and then settled in Franklin County, AL. One of his brothers went to Sumner County, TN and that is all I know of the TN Kimbroughs. His other two brothers remained in NC. One of them had a son who moved to Calhoun County, GA and that is all I know of GA Kimbrough's. I haven't gone any further down those lines as of this date. I am still researching Goldman's sons. I have Marmaduke "M D", Goldman Jr., Richard Calvin, and James Monroe as definite sons of Goldman Kimbrough. Then the best guesses are William and Bryant who could be the same person, and George who could be Georgia. There are suppose to be several girls but I only have one female name, Salley or Sarah, and that's if you don't count Georgia.

I hope that someone will read this and be able to give me some absolutes on these other children of Goldman. I would love to move past him and maybe take on some of those side lines like the Tennessee and Georgia branches.
