I am looking for information on Thomas Gaines Kimbrough. He was born about 1826 in Kentucky to Thomas W. Kimbrough. I believe his mother's name was Lucy, not sure. I have some census information on Thomas, however, cannot find him in 1870 or 1880. I believe I may have located him in 1880 in Illinois.
I know that one of his families consisted of four children: Ephriam, Issac James (Zeke), Lillian (Laid or Lady) and Lucy. All four born in Kentucky. Thomas and family later relocated to Massac County, Illinois.
Thomas had other children prior to these with another woman. I believe that while he was with the mother of the afore mentioned children, he was also living with another woman and may have had a child or children with her. I do not believe that his other children/families knew of this family (or each other in general for that matter).
Any information on Thomas would be very much appreciated.
