Hello Ron - I have John Kimbro(w) born in the late 1780s and died in the 1840s. His wife was Elizabeth Beardon, born 1794 in South Carolina and died in the 1860s in Dunklin County Missouri. I am positive on her first name and fairly sure on the last name. I also have identified all their children except for the oldest daughter who I cannot identify. I have been talking quite a bit with Betty Downing on this Missouri Kimbrow conection and I believe she has also been in contact with your mother. I am going to forward you an email I sent to Betty that lays down the John and Elizaeth Kimbrow family. By the way, there is a reasonable chance that Rebecca's mother Elizabeth Patton Crockett was living with Rebecca and George Kimbrow in Dyer County Tennessee at the time of the 1840 census. No proof of it but it is quite possible based on the ages of the people in the George Kimbrow household. Please contact me directly at as I would very much like to share information. Thanks and good digging - Wayne Jones
