According to the page that I posted above, about KIMBER's in Headington, Horspath and Cowley, my g/g/g/grandmother, Martha (KIMBER) SURMAN, had a daughter born out of wedlock (known as baseborn 8/29/1819).I had found her before, as both KIMBER and SURMAN.And so, I wasn't too surprised to find her listed on the page, born in St Giles, Horspath as Sarah KIMBER.But, when I looked for her marriage on FreeBMD, I found her listed as both KIMBER and SURMAN!Her 9/1843 marriage, to William BROOKS, is in the Thame district, volume 16, page 175.There are nine people listed as marrying during that time period (Jul/Aug/Sep), one too many for typical couples. So, I use this as proof that Sarah is mentioned twice, as KIMBER and SURMAN.

Anyone able to prove that Sarah is mentioned twice? And, better yet, any KIMBER/BROOKS descendants reading this???
