MG auto director, Cecil Kimber, 1930
I have been following the life of William Morris, maker of Morris and MG (Morris' Garage) cars in England, as I believe that Morris may be a Kimber descendant.

I have yet to find the Kimber link but found this comment on a page about Morris. The text says: "During July, 1930, the M.G. Car Company Ltd. was registered, with Morris as Governing Director and Cecil Kimber as one of the directors, to take over the manufacturing side of The Morris Garages Ltd. and the company continued to make sports cars at its Abingdon factory until 1980."

Does anyone know the lineage of this "Cecil Kimber?"

The site is: http://www.bullnose.org.uk/http://www.bullnose.org.uk/ which is a page for the "Bullnose Morris Club," a reference to Morris cars made from 1913 to 1930.If you click on the "William Morris" icon, it will take you to Morris' life history (as it relates to the car).At the bottom of that page will be a link to the next page, that being "Lord Nuffield, part 2," the name given to Morris by the King of England. The comment about Cecil Kimber is under the heading "Sports Cars," about at the halfway point on the page.
