Nancy, I am researching an Archibald Kimbell/or Kimball who married Elizabeth Myrick in Franklin County, NC in 1790. She was the daughter of William Myrick of Warren County, and I believe he is the son of Peter Kimbell, at least they lived next door to each other in the 1790 census. From there Archibald and Elizabeth disappear, and I am hoping you might shed some light on Archibald - unusual name, and you would think easy to track. I am trying to either eliminate her or consider her to be the Elizabeth Myrick that married my g-g-grandfather, Willis Horton in Franklin Cnt about 1804 or 1805. Since Archibald dropped off the census as far as I can tell, I am thinking he may have died and then she married Horton. Any help appreciated. thank you, Ginger Horton Smith
