Joyce, Peter Kimball (1735-??)of Virginia believed to be father of Peterson Kimbrell (1776-1855), who's daughter Sarah (perhaps middle name Crowder) Kimbrell (1799-1877) married Matthias (perhaps middle name Hale) Parr (1796-1862), who's father was John Parr who was married to Mary (perhaps maiden name of Hale). Peterson Kimbrell (my third great grandfather) was married to a Rebecca - but in this case Rebecca Howard Lewis. Maybe there's a clue between your posting and mine. Where did you get the name Peterson Kimbal? Always thought my Peterson was the first of the line that was not Peter - of the several Peter Kimbals. I'm sure you've read that the Kimbal, Kimball, Kimbrel, Kimbrell, et al, clan distinguished their lines with creative spelling. As President Andrew Jackson said: You must be pretty stupid if you only know one way to spell a name.... There seem to be some clarification if you look at the Kimbrell DNA website - depending upon what your goals might be. Anyway -- it's curious that you associate the names (Peterson) (Hale) (Kimball) as do I. Are we having fun, yet? Do you have anything further to spice up this search?
