There is still the question of who the Wm. H. b. 1818 in R. I. is. He is listed as a RR contractor. THe other Wm. H. b. 1838 is listed as a clerk in 1860 in Boston & clerk in 1870 in Maine. I also have a Wm. H. who shows up in NYC in 1890 in the furniture business registered with a lawyer, Thos. K. at 154 Nassau Street. I had assumed that this Wm.H. had inherited the furniture business from his grandfather Thos. (m. 1805 in Manchester Cath.) & who had a furniture factory in Cuba in the 1830's. What do you think?
Could the RR worker be the one born in 1818 & be the younger brother of SW I, b. 1809?
