The descendants of the Kilpatrick/Kirkpatrick families of North Carolina and upper South Carolina have started a Y-chromosome DNA study to try to determine if and how these families are connected and who the ancestors are. If you are a male Kilpatrick or are researching a Kilpatrick/Kirkpatrick line with origins (proven or not) in VA, NC, or SC, please contact me at Thanks in advance.
