This is my g.grandfather who came to Philadelphia from either Scotland or Ireland. His son listed both places in later census reports. David was a carter and immigrated sometime around 1820 - 1855. He died of cholera at 46, leaving his widow, Mary (possibly Compston, or Cumpston), a son, Edward James (sometimes known as James Edward), and maybe another son, George. One address was listed as 826 Carlisle Street, Phila. No parents were mentioned on the death certificate. Burials for these Kilpatricks are at Mt. Moriah Cem., Phila. Death date was 6 Oct., 1866. Would love some help on this one. LKM Notify Administrator about this message?
