Abe was Sandy's grandfather, and Jerry was his brother. Sandy's mother, Mabel, was born in 1906 - in the younger half of 14 children, so I'm guessing Abe was born, I think in New York or Pennsylvania circa 1870 or thereabouts. One thing I forgot to mention earlier is that Sandy has a cousin (probably her mother's cousin) who resided in Pennsylvania named Jimmy Kilmer with his family and they may be able to shed some light on siblings of Abe and Jerry as well as previous generations. I think Sandy is coming to my home for Thanksgiving, so maybe we can chat more then.
