thanks Nelson for your reply. I checked your 'Kilmer' trees & I thank you for sharing. I'm not sure if the 2 families are related or not. All of mine seem to come from the Schenectady, area. My 'George A. Kilmer' was married to Anita Bartlett who died in Oct. 30, 1940 in Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. My grandmother Alice Mae Kilmer Barrie is one of their children (born 6/26/07 -d. 10/31/62). They had at least 3 other children: (boys)Philip & another George, and (girl)Vesta. I know Phillip & Vesta never married or had children; I'm not sure about George. My grandmother (Alice)had 6. This 2nd 'George' lived in NJ for years & I believe died there. If any of that sounds familiar I'd be glad to share birth/death dates that I know.
I have begun getting this information in a Family Tree program but have not compiled it on-line yet... looks like I need to do that.. yours was much easier to decipher.
