Hi,
Not sure if there is any connection but my Great Grandmother was Mary Kilmartin born 1857. She had a sister called Margaret born 1865, plus 5/6 other siblings. They came from the area of Clontuskert in Galway. Their parents names were Mary (nee Nicholson) and James Kilmartin.
James Kilmartin died in 1873 aged 45 years.
They lived at one time in an area known as The Stream.
I have no other information at this time. I would be interested to hear any other information you might have
