I'm looking for information on my family from Galway.
My grandmother was Margaret Kilmartin and her mother was Mary Ann. They came to the US in the early 1900's. Mary Ann's husband, James Kilmartin died and was buried in Ireland before they emigrated. James was a widower with a few children before he married Mary Ann. His children, Patrick and Ann emigrated to the US and settled in the Wilmington, DE area, while Mary Ann and Margaret settled in NYC. Patrick apparently shortened his name to Martin upon his arrival in the US. Ann's married name was Kendall.
If anyone has any information, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!!!
