Now I have a Kilmartin in my family tree as well
Martin Kilmartin born in 1891 in Galway Ireland.
I'm not sure when he came over to Canada. He married my great grand mother Phoebe Ann Foster. Martin was Phoebe's 3rd husband. They didn't have any children.
They lived on a farm outside of Palmerston Ontario.
He has since died, in 1983 and is buried in Drayton Ontario, at the St Martin's Roman Catholic cemetery.
He's just a short link in my tree, but I remember him well.
He was a tall raw-boned man, of course looking back he seemed larger then life.
If I find out anything, I'll be sure to post another letter.
