Ed Killough m. Emily Hudgeons, 1881 TX
I know very little about this family, but because I am doing research for a book on the greater Colorado River area of Llano/Burnet Co. TX, knowledge about Ed and Emily would be appreciated.Ed and his mother were two of the graves moved from the Old Bluffton Cemetery in 1931 to the New Bluffton Cemetery prior to the completion of Buchanan Dam.Ordinarily, closest living kin was contacted, but records indicate these were unknown in 1931.Ed and his mother are both buried in adjacent unmarked graves at present time.
All I have found is a marriage record on file in Llano CO. 12-25-1881 where Ed m. Emily Hudgeons. The minister, A. L. Carlton, M.E. was a resident of the Bluffton area at that time.
Other records, such as the marriage of Wiley Gooch, son of Tom &Verlinda Jennings Gooch, also of the Bluffton area, to Bettie Hudgeons indicate further presence of the Hudgeons family. When Tom & Verlinda's graves were also moved in 1931, Wiley lived in Winters, TX.Any further information about the Killough or Hudgeons family would be appreciated.Karylon A.
