I am descended from Elizabeth Killough, b: Alabama 1803. Married: Benjamin H. Tannehill in 1819. Moved to Tx from Arkansas after 1845. On Anderson Co. Tx census in 1850. Their daughter Louisa J Tannehill was my gr grandmother. She first married a Webb then a Dees. I am descended from the Dees(e) line. Am interested in the massacre of which you spoke. Please tell me when and where this happened. I know of a mass hanging in Gainesville, Tx. Is this what you mean?
