Hello. I am a Local History Librarian at the Fort Worth Public Library.

Going through our vertical files recently we came upon an autobiography written by Martha Jane (Killough) Conaway in 1947. Her parents came to Texas in 1860 from Louisiana. She was the wife of C.P. Conaway who died in 1926. They were married in Hill County, Texas and later moved to Comanche. She was born on April 6, 1861. It is twenty pages and appears to have been donated after her funeral in 1954.

If anyone is interested in seeing this manuscript it is available in the Local History Department of the Fort Worth Public Library. If you would like me to check information within the file to see if she is an ancestor feel free to e-mail me.
