Roger,
The time frame of your "Thomas Killip" is about right for me, my Thomas married in Onchan 1814. I only have that date and am currently trying establish birthdate and place. I also have no records of his own immediate family, only his children and thereafter.
There were many Killip's called Thomas or William so one can so easily go up the wrong path.
Any other info on your Thomas might be interesting, do you know who he married? my Thomas married Eleanor (Killy or Kelly).
