Hi Jackie,
Thought I would give you what I know re my "Killip's" from the Isle of Man in case anything matches in your findings, you never know.

I have traced my gggg grandfather "Thomas Killip" born around 1780 - 90, married Eleanor Killy or Kelly 1814 Onchan. first son's were always "Thomas".
