Jeff:
Jesse "Killian" (probably should be Killion) in the 1850 census.
1850 Hamilton County, TN, film page 410, household 427, the Hamilton County Jail.
Black, Pleasant age 52, Jailer.
Killian, Jesse age 45, Convict, Counterfeiter.
(others)
I don't know where Jesse's family was in 1850. His brother, William is listed in Hamilton County, TN in 1840-50-60.
Jesse is also listed in 1830 Bledsoe County, and 1840 in Hamilton County, TN.
Please note that the following is speculative:
Jesse was a probable son of Henry Killion b.abt.1763.
The Texas County, MO Killions appear to have the same ancestry - East of the Catawba River in NC, found in Orange, Stokes, Surry, and Forsyth Counties, with other descendants in Lee County, VA, Knox County, KY and Claiborne County, TN.
