I'm looking for info on James Evans Killick who arrived in U.S. 1835, stopped in New York, married the girl he met aboard ship, Sarah Ann White, in Ohio and ended up in Chicago by 1837 where he was initially going to sell ballroom shoes until he found out the town was a swamp. Any and all info with regard to ancestors or descendants would be appreciated.
