Terry,
There are quite a few records about John Jonas and Mary Killian, but I have not found any evidence that Mary ever married him. The following seems to suggest that she didn't:
Mary vs. John Jonas for child support in Lincoln County Court in 1789.
Support awarded by the Court (10-pounds) in 1791.
Mary's two brothers indicted for criminal assualt on John Jonas in 1789.
Mary married Jacob Fye (Fey)20 Sep 1791, bond by her brother Abraham Killian.
Jacob "Fey" 1756-1800, buried Old St. Paul's Cemetery, Newton. NC.
Mary married Martin Suttlemyer 1801.
John Jonas Jr. bound to Jacob Fye 1792.
John Jonas Jr. probably 10-15 year old living with his uncle John Killian Jr. in 1800 census.
John Jonas Jr. petitioned Lincoln County Court in 1805 for "John Killian" to be his guardian. (John Killian Sr. was dead by 1800).
