Hi again Dawn,
I have been re-reading your post a little more carefully and think that we may indeed tie into the same line back in England.I have the following information:
William Killingbeck, son of William and Elizabeth,
married Jane Hairsign in Yorkshire.Jane was born in 1771 and died in 1807.I have only found three children for this couple, but I think there may have been more.William did marry a second time, to Martha Constable, and they had at least two children, Joseph and Sarah.
William and Jane Hairsign's children were:
Jane, born 1787, possibly married Robert Corner
*William, born 1794, married Sarah Johnson
George, born 1802, married Dorothy Conneyworth (my ancestors, who emigrated to Canada)
*William, above, born 1794 married Nancy (I did't have the last name) and they had the following children:
George, born or christened 1841
John, 1843
Thomas, 1846
Richard William, 1847
Ann, 1849
Sarah, 1852
Mary, 1854
Is this your line as well? Are these names, children, marriages, etc. in harmony with what you have?I would love to compare notes.
