I am researching Killens in South Eastern Penna. My grandfather's name was William H. Killen. I believe his father's name was the same. He was well known in Delaware County particularly for his "Minstrel" group. He died in 1982 at 99 yrs old at Fair Acres in Lima, PA. There is a "Killen-Miles" Post (Vets.)in Aston, PA. This was an uncle. My great grandmother was Mary Ella Carey Killen with a heavy Irish brogue. I was told she met and married in the US after coming from Ireland. I believe she died approx. 1928. I am trying to find the Irish connection. There are many other details about this branch of the family that I have. I have most information from family history and am not getting very far on the net. I am pretty new to this as well. If any of these details are ringing a bell, please contact asap.
