Seeking any and all info. relating to my direct ancestor Captain Amasa Killam. Why was he given that title of Captain. Interested in any of his military records. b. Dec. 10 1727, Preston Conn. m1. Hannah they divorced m2. Elizabeth Emerson. Amasa died during the American Revolution before May 24, 1779, how and where? Lived in Conn., R.I., and Canada (NS & NB). Would be very interested in his life in the states before relocating to Canada. Amasa was the son of John Killam and Sarah Rose. Would also like to hear from any direct descendants of Amasa or his siblings. Thank you.
