I'm trying to findout more about Ausburn Kilgo who was born abt 1825 somewhere in South Carolina. In 1850 he was in Campbell Co Ga with a wife named Dicy and two children, Jno at 3 yrs old and Elizabeth at 1. He was supposed to have married Nancy Rainwater in 1854, but, I'v not been able to prove this. He does appear with her in the 1860 census but without his 1st two children and he and Nancy have two children. His name had been spelled several ways both 1st and last name but in 1850 and 1863 Confederate army roster is is Ausburn.
