Kile family of Lancaster Co from Ludwig Kile or Keil
These five baptisms show the birth dates of the first five children of Johann Ludwig and Catharina Keil/ Keihl, and show that they were married at least by 1774 or before. They were found in two different Trinity Churches in Lancaster County, PA, in books co-authored by Rev. Frederick Sheely Weiser, who died himself on January 26, 2009.I had the great pleasure of hearing him speak in the 1980’s at a conference here in Grand Rapids, MI on the Pennsylvania-Dutch, and he authored many other books on the early Pennsylvania Dutch, or Germanpeople of Pennsylvania.

Also recorded in thison p. 188:
1774 after April 17 to December:
Daniel, Christian Vingrich’s legitimate son, and Maria, Martin Cramer’s legitimate daughter, [were married] in Warwick Township, single. [Vingrich should have been Gingrich.] I believe it possible that Maria or “Mary” was the sister of Catharina, wife of Ludwig Keihl/ Kile. They both would have been connected with the same church, both lived in Warwick Township, and several of Daniel’s descendants later married descendants of Ludwig and Catharina Kile.

[This could be the “other” Kile/ Kyle family in Cumberland Co. as Ludwig is not suppose to have arrived in America until 1768.]
