I need some help with my own Kilduff genealogy.
My dad says his father was an orphan. His dad lived with the dad's grandmother, whose name might have been Bridget Duff/Kilduff/McDuff/MacDuff. She married a George Phillips. George and Bridget were both born in PA, whereas their parents were both born in Ireland. George MAY have been born in NY instead of PA.
My dad keeps thinking that his great-grandmother Bridget was Kilduff. He says this name sticks in his mind.
At any rate, one George and Bridget Kilduff Phillips had a child, Edward, born around 1893 and died 1896. He was buried in Philly. If this is the same family, they had also Margret/Margaret, Charles, James R, Harry F, and Helen M. Harry might have been Henry, and may have been born in NY.
