Richard: My GG grandfather was also Eli Kilbury. I have him as Eli Carrington Kilbury, born 6-29-1823 at Fremont, NY, died 1-25-1909 at Kanona, NY. He was married 4 times. My Kilbury line goes though one of his wives, Sabra Jane Blakesley, with one of their sons Frank Kilbury, who was born, lived, and died in Wheeler, NY.

Eli Kilbury's father was Robert Kilbury Jr.. born 5-2-1790 in Greenfield, NY and died 3-26-1884in Fremont, NY. Eli's mother was Eunice Carrington, who was born on 6-9-1804 in Washington, NY and died in 12-17-1891. They were married in 1821. The Carrington line is extensive and I can trace it back 6 generations back from Eunice.

Robert Kilbury Jr.'s father was Robert Kilbury Sr., born on 12-13-1774 and died in 1852.

Robert Kilbury's father was John Kilbury, who was reportedly born in Southern England, moved to and lived in Dunnerston, Vermont, and died in 1810. His wife's name was Zerviah according to my records.

Please let me know if you are able to uncover additional details about our Kilbury line, or have any questions.

Best regards, Marty Clark, Fort Collins, CO
