Thank you for the pedigrees that you put on this forum. Spelling is very problematic as in the book, Memorial of Henry Wolcott, Gen. Charles L.'s last name was spelled "KILBOURN". This text can be found online at www.archive.org
The one tidbit that I offered to Kilbourn(e) researchers was the engagement notice that I found in a newspaper. As the marriage was not mentioned in a pedigree that I could find, perhaps it never took place. Even in the pedigree that you gave there was no mention of it. I will leave this mystery up to those interested in doing research on this family to solve as I am not a Kilbourne/Kilbourn/Kilburn researcher.
