George: I have just seen your posting in reponse to Bernie and I think I can make the connection. I am secretary of the Kilander/Kylander/Callender Assoc. We have published a volume that includes some info for you./ According to our info, Mary (Polly) Margaret was born 17 Jan. 1847. Her parents were Perry Kilander (b 10 June 1823 in IN or Brown Co. OH) and Sarah Jane Martin, (b. Nov. 1828). They married 17 Mar., 1846. Sarah Jane d 14 Mar 1901 and Perry d 18 Jul 1905, both in Wells Co, IN, after having reared 12 children, ten of whom were still living in 1903. Polly married (26 Jan 1971) Jonathan "Canada" Griffith in Wells Co. They had three children (all unknown to us). We are working on updating and a reprinting of our book.
