If you can provide a bit more information to Donna Kiker Liddell([email protected]), I feel she can tell you very quickly if we have Grace & Cleo Kiker in the the genealogy already or not.Their names do not come immeditely to my mind, butrest assured that we would like to add them as every indication leads us to believe that all the KEICHER, KYKER & KIKER families are descended from a common ancestor. We would like to include them all -- those with the name as well as the descendants of the female children, too.
The area of the country where they were born and raised would help a lot.How about parents, where died and buried, and any other information is invariably important and helpful. There has been a lot of duplication of names, even my own, James Richard. That came as quite a surprise to me.
Richard Kyker, myself and Donna have pooled our research.Donna has become the "keeper of the keys" and has all our research on CD ROM disks which she sells for a small sum.
It is true that so often we identify, for example, "Grace & Cleo" and have considerable information about them, but not as much as their direct family. In the majority of the cases, we provide what we have, then never hear back. It's that "hear back" that is so important as that is the only way we can be sure of the identification AND TO ADD TO THE POOL OF INFORMATION about the family.
So, please send Donna whatever you know about Grace & Cleo, and I feel it will be productive to us all.
Jim Kiker
