Ms. Samuel Kight Passes Away -- Mrs. Samuel (Bathiah) Kight died of disease
incident to old age at the home of her daughter, Mrs James Burt of Huron
Flats, Friday morning. The deceased was 73 years of age and had lived in
this city with her daughter for about two years. The remains were taken to
the old home near Limerick Sunday for interment and the funeral was in
charge of undertaker C A Wood. Besides her daughter, she leaves to mourn
three sons, Mont of Jackson Route 3, John of Limerick and David of
Grahamsville. [NB: Bathiah (Terry) Kight was born 01 May 1833, as best as I
can determine, the d/o Paul Terry and Mary Elizabeth Collins. Samuel Kight
was the son of John Kight, Mary (Collins) Kight's second husband; Mary and
John later relocated to Iowa.]
