I am seeking information on Sarah Ann Kight/Kite, b. in either 1806 or 1811 in NC. She may be a daughter of Samuel Kight of Pitt County, NC. Sarah married Richard G. Gibbs, also of NC. The couple moved to GA, then to Alabama where they raised a large family of either eight or nine sons. They had several sons, including Churchwell, Caswell, and Major Gibbs. Samuel Kight of Pitt County, NC had sons by these names so it appears Sarah named some of her sons after her brothers. At one point, Hollie Ann Kite, possibly a niece of Sarah's, resided in Sarah and Richard Gibbs' household. Also, William Caswell lived near Samuel Kight in the 1810 census of Pitt County, NC. Is there a connection between the Caswell and Kight families?
