She married Edward Everett some time before daughter Laura Everetts birth on February 20, 1892.
NEED---Information of the marriage of Chata/Hattie Kiggins and Edward Everett

Edward Everett died March 16, 1898 per a family bible record.
NEED---Information from obituary of Edward Everett in 1898

Chata/Hattie (Kiggins)Everett was working as a servant in the home of a Mason A. Brown and his wife Dora E. in the 1900 Mercer County, Union Township, Ohio census. Chata/Hattie is listed as a widow with 2 living children, Laura, who was born 1892 and George who was born Feb, 1896.

Sometime between 1900 and December 2, 1902 Mason A. Brown's wife Dora must have died, as Mason and Chata/Hattie are married and have 4 more children together.

OBITUARY---Toledo Blade February 6, 1959
Chata Brown
Mrs. Chata (Hattie) Brown, 84, of 216 Prescott St., died yesterday at the home of her son, David, 2555 Grantwood Dr.
Born in Van Wert County, she lived in Toledo 36 years.
Other survivors are sons, George, Monroe, Mich., and John, Toledo; daughters, Mrs. Laura Bundy, Mrs. Orpha Woodring and Mrs. Gladys Drew, Toledo, and Mrs. Anna Packard, Defiance; sisters, Mrs. Dalla Kinkle and Mrs. Emma Jackson, Van Wert; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grand-children and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be tonight at 8 p.m. in the Foth Mortuary. Further services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Wesley Methodist Chapel, Mendon, with burial in Tomlinson Cemetery.
